SEVEN KINGS -PRINT

from $150.00
sale

The interlocking profiles of each King are influenced by the Dutch Artist, M.C. Escher, who explored the theory of tessellation, where the graphic art portrays mathematical relationships among shapes, figures, and space.

The Artist’s concept for this piece of art is reminiscent of the Telephone Game, where in this case a group of SEVEN KINGS gather in a line and the first King makes a statement and whispers it into the ear of the next King. Then the King who just heard the statement whispers it to the next King and this continues until it reaches the seventh King. Imagine how the statements made by each of these seven consecutive rulers have morphed into something different from when it initially started.

The bold colors throughout this work of art makes it an incredibly unique conversation piece for any setting.
